PAYMENT:

​Most deposits are made via Zelle or per accepted payments below, except AMEX (American Express). Please have your payment ready each session instead of waiting for someone to come and pay for you. Payment must be made in full by the end of each session’s balance due amount (see your quote agreement for price breakdown).

2) Every $200 deposit required by Microhair Studio, an additional $4 non-refundable payment is applied to the deposit if the client chooses “Purchase Protection” or “Paying for a good or service” through Venmo. They charge the merchant instead of the client for a specific service we don’t offer.
3) If client chooses “Purchase Protection” or “Paying for a good or service” for any other transaction via Venmo than the $200 deposit, an additional 2% fee will incur.

DEPOSIT:

You must secure an appointment with a deposit ($200 or $100 for Scalp Micropigmentation based on treatment plan and $100 for Brow Microblading), which should be made at least 48-72 hours to 7 days before procedure. Contact Microhair Studio to make your deposit if you have an eligible treatment area. Payment options above under “PAYMENT”. The deposit is to ensure that you are serious about booking your appointment and will be deducted from the total cost or balance of your session upon your visit (see your quote agreement’s price breakdown). The card may be used for Rescheduling, Cancellation/No-Show, Deposit Forfeit (ex., Late), or any other unexpected change in plans.

Deposit will be forfeited if:

    • Late: more than 15 minutes late to your appointment.
    • Medical Contraindications (https://www.microhairstudio.com/health/) upon appointment arrival.
    • Client does not proceed with agreed haircut/length/color as discussed and agreed during consult and Quote Agreement file.
    • Reschedule, cancel & no-show within 72 hours of appointment.
    • If the client refuses to wear a mask in the facility at all times while the business requires such, the client will be sent home and will lose his/her deposit.

LATE:

You have a 15-minute grace period, but arriving later require rescheduling with deposit forfeited. Time lost cannot be easily made up and with the same quality of work & without running into someone else’s appointment. We cannot rush or cut corners. If rescheduling or canceling becomes necessary then the cancellation fee will apply.

Call and let us know if you’ll be running late in case we can switch you to a later time.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/LATE/DEPOSIT POLICY
(SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION):

I) Consultation:

    • Please show up on time. Clients who arrive 15 minutes later than their consultation appointment will have a shorter appointment than scheduled or may need to reschedule and will forfeit a $50 fee per cancellation/reschedule/no-show/late policy.
    • Clients who cancel with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit a $50 cancellation fee.
    • If the client refuses to wear a mask in the facility at all times while the business requires such, the client will be sent home and will lose his/her deposit.
    • In order to book the client’s next consult or session, he/she must submit all penalty fees (ex., $50 per point above) beforehand online or in person.

 

II) SMP Treatment Session (generally 1st session and touch up):
Deposit is only transferable or partially refundable if you reschedule or cancel with more than 72 hours notice. If electronic deposit is refundable, a $10 fee applies for a $200 deposit and a $5 fee for a $100 deposit (example, if the deposit is $200, $190 will be refunded; if the deposit is $100, $95 will be refunded).
Fee if session is or will be canceled/rescheduled/no-show with:

    • More than 72 hours notice: $0.
    • Less than 72 hours notice: deposit or amount equivalent to original deposit forfeited, usually $200.
    • No refunds if the client shows up with one or more contraindications including currently breastfeeding, pregnant, WRONG HAIRCUT AND/OR WRONG HAIR COLOR, SCALP SHOWS SIGNIFICANT SIGNS OF DANDRUFF,  etc. No exceptions!
    • If the client refuses to wear a mask in the facility at all times while the business requires such, the client will be sent home and will lose his/her deposit.
    • If the client refuses or does not fill out paperwork on the day of session before session, client will not be able to proceed with treatment, thus, forfeiting his/her deposit for that day per policies; this is referred to as “cancellation”.
    • Client will need to make a deposit again should he/she like to book that same session again, which is an additional $200 to client’s total balance. 

In order to book your next session, you must submit all penalty fees and/or new deposit (example, $200 additional to your total treatment cost) beforehand online or in person.
Any $0 touch up: same rules apply above; however, because by this time your balance will be $0 (disregard financing), you must make a non-refundable fee per above to book the next touch up session online.

 

III) SMP Treatment Session (generally 2nd and 3rd session):
Typically 2nd and/or 3rd sessions do not require a deposit if the previous session’s balance was fully paid. Previous session’s deposit will be transferred and used as this session’s deposit if the previous session was fully paid. At this point, the deposit cannot be refunded.

Fee if session is or will be canceled/rescheduled/no-show with:

    • More than 72 hours notice: $0.
    • Less than 72 hours notice: deposit or amount equivalent to original deposit forfeited, usually $200.
    • If the client refuses or does not fill out paperwork on the day of session before session, client will not be able to proceed with treatment, thus, forfeiting his/her deposit for that day per policies; this is referred to as “cancellation”. (BROW MICROBLADING):

CONTRAINDICATIONS UPON APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL:

We will NOT be able to perform this procedure if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have COVID or have COVID symptom(s). NO EXCEPTIONS. If you fail to inform us of any contraindications (https://www.microhairstudio.com/health/) before arrival, it will be considered a cancellation. You’ll be charged the full balance for patch tests but 50% of that session’s balance (ex., 2nd session balance due is $600, so you’ll be charged $300). Same fees incur as “RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION & NO SHOW” for insufficient notice.

 

ANNUAL TOUCH UP (SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION):

See your Quote Agreement for more details, which by standard would clarify all sessions including any touch-ups in the package expire 12 months after the 1st session was completed (example, your 1st session was completed on 2/1/18, so your 2nd, 3rd and touch up sessions all expire at the end of 2/1/19).

It is the CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITY to schedule all his/her sessions with the technician. We will NOT be able to follow up for every clients’ appointments.

Please don’t assume your artist is available at the last moment or in that last month.
Please schedule or plan with your artist your visit(s) before your expiration date in a timely manner (suggest around the 10-11th month for the last session). Please do NOT wait the last few months to complete your last few sessions.

Follow multiple touch up options per here before your annual touch up if you wish or wait until a year to have your annual touch up.

PROMOTIONS / SPECIAL OFFERS:

Promotions and/or special offers must be in writing. Details agreed upon per promotion, if such offer is available, can be retracted only if balance void of that discount is fully paid by the beginning of the 1st session. No refunds for promotional offer(s) after end of 1st session. Once offer is retracted by the beginning of the 1st session, contracted details will be as well. If contracted details are breached by client after the end of the 1st session whether by client’s no-show, client’s decision to discontinue treatment, and/or client’s attempt to avoid any details in the contract, discounted offer will be retracted. However, any remaining agreed photos, videos and/or media will still be used as agreed. No changes to the promotion(s) offered are allowed by the client.

Client accepts to waive all his/her rights for any claim against the technician or Microhair Studio and its representatives and subsidiaries for any reasons may involve whatsoever including all claims for injury, seen or unseen that may occur as a result of the details contracted in client’s chosen promotion. Client accepts full responsibility for the decision to have this cosmetic tattoo work done in addition to the details contracted in client’s chosen promotion. Client consents to the application of the semi-permanent tattoo and to any actions or conduct of the representatives and employees of Microhair Studio reasonably necessary to perform the tattoo procedure and details contracted in client’s chosen promotion.

 

REFUND AND RETURNS:

For deposit refunds and fees, see above under “DEPOSIT” and/or “RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION & NO SHOW”. Otherwise, see below for all other refund policies.

Clients MUST WEAR A MASK EVERY VISIT or will be sent home & the deposit will be forfeited. NO refunds for not proceeding with the session(s) if the client doesn’t want to wear a mask and/or cancels future session(s) for any reason. Please do NOT dispute the mask policy as every business has their own policies compared to other. 

Scalp Micropigmentation treatment payments are divided into multiple session payments. If client chooses not to or is not able to proceed with the remaining session(s) for any reason, NO refund(s) are necessary or permitted due to the completed session(s) paid off. If session(s) that are not completed have been paid, refunds are permitted with a 5% refund fee from the balance.

The nature of permanent cosmetic tattooing is a multi-session procedure that requires more than one visit to achieve the desired shape and color in most cases and is particularly true for any corrective work as well as complete tattoo removal. The results of any cosmetic procedure, including but not limited to permanent cosmetics and complete tattoo removal, can not be guaranteed due to the unique and unpredictable nature of each person’s body, skin and temperament. As such, there are no refunds for any work that has already been done should the client choose for any reason to forgo additional sessions that may be needed to achieve the desired results. We cannot guarantee successful result on 100% of our clients especially those with problem skin and do not offer refunds as we have carried out the treatment at a cost to us.

You can reduce your treatment size after 1st payment is made on your treatment package, but you will not receive a prorated amount as a refund or store credit. You can split your treatment session (whether 1st session or 2nd session) into 2 parts so that you can complete part 2 on a separate date, however, balance must be paid off at 2nd treatment.

You can increase your treatment size after 1st payment is made on your treatment package, but price will reflect new package plan. You will not receive a refund on your original or prior package plan in order to purchase a new plan if you’ve already completed your 1st session into your original or prior plan.

Details agreed upon per promotion, if such offer is available, can be retracted only if balance void of that discount is fully paid by the beginning of the 1st session. Please check your Quote Agreement for pricing including deposit and price breakdown. Sometimes pricing for additional treatment areas is texted or emailed due to last minute client request. Policies and fees are subject to change without notice.; however, once treatment is booked, price is guaranteed unless Rescheduled or Cancelled/Forfeited. Please note that the rates may vary in the case of traveling, events or in special circumstances.

If you deliberately violate any of our terms and conditions, including our aftercare suggestions, we will be excluded from liability and we have the right to cancel any treatment in the future.
